With ISDN your business can meet tomorrow's advanced telecommunications needs today. ISDN is easy to setup, affordable and nationally
available. ISDN makes existing copper wiring a powerful new communications pipeline by sending digitial signals. It reduces analog
signal distortion for virtually error-free video and data transmissions.
Basic Rate Interface (BRI) is composed of a 2B+D channel configuration, with two "bearer" or B channels which carry communications, and
one "delta" or D channel with carries call set-up information or packet data. You may tailor the channels to your needs.
For example, you might want both B channels to provide a fast pipe for data. Or, you might choose one B channel for voice and the other
for data. With a single BRI, you can communicate at 128 Kbps without compression. Customer equipment is available that offers ISDN
compression throughputs to achieve rates 512 Kbps to 1 Mbps.
